Cara Delevingne has unveiled a new tattoo, leaving fans questioning whether the misspelling was deliberate or simply a typo.

On September 29, tattoo artist Matteo Nangeroni took to Instagram to showcase the actress' fresh ink. The photo captured a topless Delevingne, with one hand elegantly covering her chest. Her gaze directly met the camera as she revealed the captivating body art adorning her upper arm, which displayed the word "Dormiveglia (n.)" alongside its enchanting meaning: "the realm betwixt slumber and stride."

Speculation arose among keen fans when they discovered that dormiveglia, which translates to "half-asleep" in Italian, could potentially be interpreted as "waking" rather than "walking."

"Was it deliberate to use 'walking' instead of 'waking' or just a typographical error?" questioned one individual on Instagram, while another inquired, "Shouldn't it say sleeping and waking instead?"

Delevingne responded swiftly to critics questioning her decision to pose topless in the photo. She clarified that she chose to remove her bra because it didn't complement the overall aesthetic she was aiming for. As a perfectionist, especially in the realm of photography, she wanted to contribute to creating something visually stunning. Delevingne kindly requested everyone to remain calm and expressed gratitude. Moving on, this is not the only instance of body art for Delevingne. In 2013, she proudly displayed her first tattoo, a lion's face on her knuckle, symbolizing her zodiac sign of Leo. Additionally, during the filming of Suicide Squad, Delevingne and Margot Robbie playfully inked smiley face tattoos on each other's toes.

In July 2016, Robbie, aged 33, revealed the story behind her tattoo during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. She enthusiastically disclosed, "We came up with this idea of toemojis, where we would tattoo tiny little faces on the soles of our toes." Curious about Robbie's expertise, Fallon, aged 49, jokingly inquired if she was licensed to tattoo others. Without hesitation, she replied, "I'm not sure about the rules, but you can actually purchase a tattoo gun on Ebay."

Delevingne's left foot bears the words "Made in England" and "Bacon." On her right hand, her initials "CJD" are elegantly scripted, surrounded by stars near her right ear, with a diamond adorning her cartilage, among others.

Although each tattoo holds its own narrative, Delevingne shared with Vogue in March her intentions of removing some of them to embark on a "fresh start." She revealed that during her modeling career in the 2010s, body art was forbidden under her modeling contract, prompting her to rebel by getting tattoos.
