Capcom has confirmed its plans to remake additional Resident Evil games, but has not disclosed which ones at this time. Yasuhiro Ampo of Capcom stated at a PlayStation partner awards event in Japan that they are happy with the positive reception of the three remakes released so far and are committed to continuing to bring these beloved older games to a modern audience.
Ampo expressed, "Our plans for future game remakes will be announced at a later date, so stay tuned for that." He also emphasized the significance of player feedback and opinions in the development process, acknowledging that the critical reception of remakes can be unpredictable. As for which Resident Evil game Capcom will tackle next, potential candidates may include Code Veronica, the original Resident Evil, Resident Evil 0, or Resident Evil 5.
The Resident Evil 4 remake, which was released in March, has been nominated for Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2023. In our review on Our Website, we stated that "Capcom has set a new standard for game remakes, while also maintaining the legacy of Resident Evil 4 as a groundbreaking and timeless gaming experience."

As a passionate fan of the Resident Evil series, I am thrilled to hear that Capcom plans to remake additional games in the franchise. The remakes of Resident Evil 2, 3, and 4 have been incredibly well-received by fans and critics alike, and I am excited to see which titles will be next in line for a modern reimagining.
I have been a fan of the Resident Evil series since the original game was released in 1996. I have played and enjoyed every game in the series, and I am always eager to see what Capcom has in store for the franchise. The remakes have been a great way to revisit some of my favorite games and experience them in a new way. I am particularly excited about the possibility of a Resident Evil Code Veronica remake. Code Veronica is one of my favorite games in the series, and I think it would benefit greatly from a modern remake.
I am confident that Capcom will continue to do a great job with the Resident Evil remakes. I can't wait to see which games they choose to remake next, and I am excited to experience them all over again.
