The Season 1 Reloaded update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 introduces a crossover with The Boys TV series, offering new operator bundles, limited-time event challenges, and a Supe-themed multiplayer mode.
According to the latest Call of Duty blog post, the upcoming Supe'd Up multiplayer mode for MW3 introduces a new limited-time mode described as Kill Confirmed with a twist. In Supe'd Up, fallen operators drop doses of Temp V, a super serum from The Boys, giving players temporary power boosts such as Heat Vision.
Players also have the opportunity to earn rewards themed around the show by completing The Boys: Super Siege event challenges. The challenges include achieving a Heat Vision elimination with one operator in The Boys mode, which will earn a special calling card as a reward.
Deactivate 20 pieces of equipment using DDoS (Reward: Emblem)
Get four operator eliminations using the MTZ-762 (Reward: Battle pass tier skip)
Get two operator eliminations in a single life with the Overkill vest equipped, five times (Reward: Large decal)
Get 15 operator akimbo eliminations (Reward: Weapon charm)
Get seven operator eliminations using lethal equipment (Reward: Double XP token)
Completing all six challenges earns "The Boys Special," which is a light machine gun weapon blueprint.
Additional Supe bundles will be available in the shop, with Season 1 Reloaded introducing operator bundles for A-Train and the new Supe, Firecracker, for the upcoming season. Each operator pack will come with their own tracer weapon bundles, a distinctive finishing move, and other perks.
The Season 1 Reloaded update is set to launch on January 17, bringing a new multiplayer map, the Ranked Play competitive mode for MP, and new features for Warzone. Stay tuned for all the exciting details.
Editor's P/S
As a huge fan of both Call of Duty: MW3 and The Boys TV series, I am incredibly excited about the upcoming Season 1 Reloaded update and the introduction of the Boys MP Event Redux. The Supe'd Up multiplayer mode sounds like an absolute blast, and I can't wait to try out the new Temp V power boosts and see how they change the dynamics of the game. The Boys: Super Siege event challenges also look like a lot of fun, and I'm eager to earn all the rewards, especially the "The Boys Special" light machine gun weapon blueprint.
Overall, I think this update is a great way to bring together two of my favorite franchises and I can't wait to jump into the action when it goes live on January 17th. I'm also looking forward to seeing what other surprises the Season 1 Reloaded update has in store, such as the new multiplayer map and the Ranked Play competitive mode for MP.
