The Valley season 1 is just getting started, with more drama to come, according to cast member Brittany Cartwright.
"It's only going to get crazier. This is just the start," Brittany, 35, exclusively told We on Tuesday, April 2. "And then everybody's just mad at each other all summer."
Brittany and her now-estranged husband Jax Taylor are part of the cast of The Valley, a spinoff of Vanderpump Rules. The show, which premiered on Bravo recently, follows them and their friends as they move from city life in Los Angeles to the suburbs.
Brittany shared with Us that being parents now has brought a different dynamic to the show compared to their past appearances. She mentioned that they were in a better place in their marriage and lives during filming. Their last TV appearance was at their wedding, and since then, they have been married for over four years, almost five.
After finishing filming, Brittany and Jax, who is 44 years old, have split up. However, they continue to co-parent their 2-year-old son Cruz.
Not only do they display their family life on The Valley, but they also spend time with their co-stars Kristen Doute, Luke Broderick, Danny Booko, Nia Booko, Jesse Lally, Michelle Lally, Janet Caperna, Jason Caperna, Jasmine Goode, and Zack Wickham.
Throughout the first few episodes, Jax repeatedly questioned Kristen’s relationship and even invited her ex Alex Menache to a boys’ night gathering.
Brittany Cartwright Says The Valley Cast Is Mad at Each Other for the Rest of the Season
Brittany mentioned that at the start of filming, they weren't very close to Luke. He and Kristen were still in a new relationship, and he was often in Colorado. Brittany admitted she didn't know Luke well initially. However, she has gotten to know him better now and loves him. She thinks Luke and Kristen make a great couple.
Brittany mentioned that Jax and Luke, 33, are now "good friends," but it took some time to reach that point.
According to Brittany's theory, the reason for this was that Kristen had recently ended a relationship and quickly started a new one, expressing her desire to have children. Brittany expressed her support for Kristen's decision to become a mother, as it had been a positive experience for her. However, she believed that Jax was concerned about the speed at which things were moving, considering Kristen had just discussed the same topic with her ex before bringing it up with her new partner.
Brittany shared her thoughts on the situation, mentioning that she felt it was unnecessary for him to repeatedly tell her to relax. She believed that saying it once was enough, and there was no need to say it 25 times.
The Valley can be watched on Bravo on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET.
