Brett Michaels sounds happy to have welcomed Brett Michaels into his home.
The Poison frontman has adopted a 6-year-old Husky who shares his name.
The Nebraska Humane Society shared on Facebook the heartwarming story of a dog that rescued a 1-month-old kitten suffering from "flea anemia." According to the post, while adult animals may only experience a minimal impact on their red blood cells from a flea infestation, this tiny kitten faced a much more severe situation. Urgently in need of blood, immediate assistance was vital to save its life.
The dog recently underwent blood work and was found to be a compatible donor for the kitten. After the initial transfusion, the kitten began showing signs of improvement. This heartwarming story captured the interest of singer Brett Michaels, who had recently paid tribute to his late dog, Phoenix, on social media just days before.
Human Brett Michaels recently shared a photo of his dog namesake, affectionately stating, "He possesses everything that screams - I am Bret Michaels, the Husky, and I have found a loving home with Bret Michaels, the Rockstar." The Humane Society joyously commended this heartwarming adoption.
"We are eagerly anticipating how he flourishes in his fresh abode, with a slight concern that it may become perplexing should someone request Bret Michaels to fetch!" expressed the organization in a social media post.
Shortly thereafter, the musician shared a post comprising a collection of photographs.
"My friends, allow me to introduce you to lil Bret Michaels, the husky, and Roses & Thorn, the kitten he valiantly rescued, alongside the amazing group of humans and staff who dedicated their efforts to improving the lives of these cherished pets," stated the caption. "Truly, it takes a village of awesomeness, and now I embark on a new mission - to locate an extraordinary home for this adorable kitten!"
Here's a playful nod to the strong bond between the pup and his newfound human companions - their connection is as sturdy as a rock of love.
