Breaking News: Must-See Prequel Anime Announced for Bleach Creator's Highly-Anticipated Follow-up!

Burn The Witch, the highly anticipated new project from the creator of Bleach, is set to captivate fans with a thrilling prequel season Get ready to immerse yourself in the magical world of Burn The Witch!

After a three-year wait, fans of Tite Kubo's Bleach series can rejoice as Burn The Witch makes its long-awaited comeback. The official website of the series recently announced the anime's return, accompanied by a trailer. The website stated, "Another Soul Society by Tite Kubo. Two Witches prequel story is getting an anime adaptation." While additional details such as the staff and cast have been revealed, no release date has been announced yet.

Burn The Witch is based on Tite Kubo's manga series of the same name, with Kubo being known as the legendary creator of Bleach. The series began serialization as a one-shot in 2018 in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. Following the manga's success, an anime adaptation was announced and released from August 2020 to September 2020. The first season covered the first four chapters of the manga. Since then, there has been little information from the production team, but now fans can rejoice in the return of the anime.

Burn the Witch New Season Will Be a Prequel

The upcoming project Burn the Witch #0.8 "Don’t Judge a Book By Its Cover" serves as a prequel to season 1 of the anime. Studio Colorido will be responsible for the animation once again, led by the experienced director Tatsuro Kawano. Having previously worked on notable anime series like Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, Kill la Kill, and Psycho-Pass, Kawano brings his expertise to this project. Additionally, fans can expect the return of several talented voice actors, including Asami Tano (known for her roles in Zom 100 and One Piece) as the spirited character Ninny Spangcole, Yuina Yamada reprising her role as Noel Niihashi, and Shimba Tsuchiya (known for Haikyuu!! and My Teen Romantic Comedy) lending his voice to the character Balgo Parks.

This announcement follows the Burn The Witch teaser at the conclusion of episode 9 of Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War The Separation. The upcoming season will be an adaptation of the original one-shot of the manga, which plays a crucial role in the anime's plot. The previous season lacked attention to detail and had unresolved plot issues, which we hope will be rectified in this upcoming season. While a specific release date has not been announced, the new season of Bleach will be arriving sooner rather than later.

Set in the Bleach universe, this series reveals that seventy-two percent of deaths in London are caused by mystical creatures known as dragons. Similar to the Hollows, these beasts are invisible to ordinary humans. Wing Bind is an organization dedicated to combating these dragons and safeguarding ordinary humans. The story focuses on two agents of the organization, Ninny Spangcole and Noel Niihashi, as they embark on missions to rescue civilians and collect dragons. With notable similarities to Bleach, Burn the Witch presents the exciting potential for crossover interactions between characters from both shows. As Bleach approaches its conclusion, fans remain hopeful that creator Tite Kubo will continue expanding the Burn the Witch storyline.

Burn the Witch is available to stream on Crunchyroll.
