Notably, Virtuos, headquartered in Singapore, is currently devoted to creating an updated version of The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion, codenamed Altar. Expectations are high, as this game, powered by Unreal Engine 5, aims for a release either late in 2024 or early in 2025. The specific timing hinges on whether Virtuos ultimately delivers a remaster or a full-fledged remake.

Virtuos's alleged project roadmap, which included this claim, was shared on the r/GamingLeaksAndRumours subreddit over the weekend. The moderators of that community confirmed that the poster was a former Virtuos employee. Shortly after sharing this information, the source deleted their post and Reddit account. However, it was already reported by Xfire.

In addition to the rumored Oblivion remake, Virtuos' Paris branch is reportedly developing a game called "Ominous," which is centered around climbing and storytelling. They are also working on the upcoming expansion for New World, Amazon's MMORPG scheduled for release in 2021. According to the same source, Virtuos is currently working on an ambitious AAA title with the code name "Massive." This game is said to combine the concept of massive bosses similar to Shadow of the Colossus with the cooperative gameplay mechanics found in mainline Monster Hunter games. Lastly, Virtuos is also involved in the development of Metal Gear Solid Delta, internally referred to as "Cobra" by the leaker.
