Manchester United is reportedly shifting their attention to other potential signings due to a current stalemate in their pursuit of Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount. Sources suggest that Manchester United's recent offer of £55m for Mount, although still on the table, was turned down by Chelsea on Friday night.
United are still interested in signing Moises Caicedo, the midfielder from Brighton, along with several other players.
Chelsea, on the other hand, has put forward a counter-offer of £58m with an additional £7m in add-ons to secure the services of Mount. They have also suggested meeting with United face-to-face in an effort to reach a favorable agreement.

Brighton's rising star, Moises Caicedo, has caught the attention of Manchester United.
Mount, the talented English international, is currently in the final year of his contract at Stamford Bridge and reportedly has a strong desire to join Erik ten Hag's team.
United is actively exploring other options as we have learned. Any potential increase to their £55m offer seems unlikely, following their third bid. Additionally, United has expressed their willingness to negotiate if they receive a positive response from Chelsea.
United now faces the task of evaluating whether the aforementioned response is sufficient to prompt them to engage in further negotiations or to abandon the pursuit and explore different options. With Financial Fair Play regulations in place, allocating a significant chunk of their budget to a single player, particularly considering other areas they intend to bolster, appears improbable for United.
