Brad Pitt and George Clooney showcase their enduring friendship in the trailer for their upcoming action-comedy, Wolfs.

Directed and written by Jon Watts, the movie centers around Clooney, a seasoned fixer tasked with concealing a major crime. However, things take a surprising turn when another fixer, portrayed by Pitt, arrives on the scene to handle the same job. The two "lone wolves" find themselves reluctantly teaming up as their night takes an unexpected and chaotic turn.

The upcoming buddy comedy features George Clooney and Brad Pitt teaming up for the first time since their Ocean's Eleven series and Burn After Reading in 2008. The film will be released in theaters on September 20, followed by streaming on Apple TV+. Amy Ryan, Austin Abrams, and Poorna Jagannathan also have roles in the movie.

In the newly released trailer on Wednesday, the story unfolds with Clooney confidently stating his abilities to a client. However, Pitt unexpectedly appears, leading to a surprising twist when they realize that their supposed target (played by Abrams) is actually alive.

The duo, despite denying being partners, are described by Abram as being very similar. They realize they must collaborate to survive.

Even though the film is not scheduled for release until the fall, plans for a sequel are already being discussed. Clooney mentioned in May that working with Jon was a great experience, praising his talent and joyful attitude. He expressed excitement about the film and enjoyed reuniting with Brad, stating that they had a fantastic time working together.

Clooney also revealed that both he and Pitt actually “gave money back” to the film to ensure it would receive a theatrical release.

During a meeting with David Zaslav, the CEO of Warner Bros. Discovery, Clooney mentioned that every movie they produce is likely to end up on streaming platforms. However, they still prefer to release it in theaters first. This strategy helps in promoting the movie and increasing viewership on streaming platforms. Clooney and Brad made a deal to ensure their movie had a theatrical release, even though it wasn't a popular opinion at the time.

Clooney expressed his excitement for the movie "Wolfs" during an interview with Total Film earlier this year. He described it as a really good movie that fans are sure to enjoy.

"We recently screened it, and the audience absolutely loved it," he shared with the media. "We're thrilled about it. It's a really entertaining, dark - very dark - and crazy film. It's like an R-rated Ocean's film."

"Wolfs will be released in theaters on September 20."

Editor's P/S:

The upcoming action-comedy "Wolfs," starring Brad Pitt and George Clooney, promises an exciting blend of action, comedy, and star power. The trailer showcases the chemistry between the two legendary actors, who haven't shared the screen since 2008. The film's premise of two rival fixers crossing paths and being forced to collaborate has the potential for both hilarious and thrilling moments.

Clooney and Pitt's commitment to ensuring a theatrical release for "Wolfs" is a testament to their belief in the importance of the cinema experience. While streaming platforms offer convenience, there's still something special about seeing a movie on the big screen with an audience. The film's success in theaters could set a precedent for future releases, showing that there's still a strong demand for the traditional movie-going experience.
