The Fallout TV series by Amazon will premiere in 2024. Goggins shared with Our Website, "This character has been wandering the post-apocalyptic world for 200 years. He has witnessed the darkest aspects of human nature and has become devoid of emotion. He is cynical and has a dark sense of humor. But it wasn't always like that. He used to be different."

Goggins is referring to The Ghoul's life before the nuclear fallout, when he was known as Cooper Howard. "His connections and perspective on the world were different back then. Now he's a renowned bounty hunter and a legend in that regard," explained Goggins.

Ella Purnell (Yellowjackets) and Kyle MacLachlan (Twin Peaks) have leading roles in The Fallout TV series. Developed for Amazon by Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan, the post-apocalyptic series is based on the Bethesda game. Todd Howard, an executive from Bethesda, known for his work on the games, is also an executive producer on the TV series, which is canonical with the game franchise.

Amazon is also involved in the forthcoming God of War TV series, but details about the cast, story, director, and other specifics have not been released yet. Regarding the Fallout game series, Bethesda has confirmed that Fallout 5 is in the works, but it will not be released until after The Elder Scrolls VI. Therefore, fans should not anticipate the game to be available anytime soon.
