Blake Horstmann and Giannina Gibelli Announce Exciting News: They're Expecting Their First Baby!

Bachelor Nation's Blake Horstmann and Love Is Blind's Giannina Gibelli have exciting news to share – they are expecting their first baby! In a heartwarming joint statement on Instagram, the couple revealed, "After more than a year together, we are thrilled to announce that our little bundle of joy will be arriving in the spring of 2024. We couldn't be more grateful for this incredible journey life has taken us on, and we are overjoyed to become parents."
In January 2022, it was confirmed that Horstmann, aged 34, and Gibelli, aged 30, were in a relationship. During the same month, they celebrated New Year's Eve together and traveled to Rome to celebrate Gibelli's 29th birthday.
After two months, Gibelli revealed to a fan that she couldn't share official photos with Horstmann due to legal obligations related to a project they had worked on together which had not yet been announced. However, in June 2022, they publicly confirmed their romance following the announcement of Paramount+'s All Star Shore.
The Love Is Blind alum playfully hinted on Instagram that their relationship was not exactly a secret, while also gushing about Horstmann as the person they hold dear. Horstmann openly discussed their plans as a couple during an interview with Us in October 2022.
"It’s almost been a year since I’ve been here, so I’m coming close to reaching the 12-month mark. It has been a while since I dated a girl for that long," Horstmann jokingly remarked, alluding to his fame in the Bachelor Nation. (Horstmann first appeared on The Bachelorette during the 14th season, competing for Becca Kufrin's affection.)
He acknowledged that their relationship with Gibelli is distinct from his previous romances due to the significant emphasis on "conflict resolution." (Gibelli was previously engaged to her Love Is Blind season 1 co-star, Damian Powers.)

"It holds such immense significance in our relationship, and I am grateful to have it," he expressed to Us. "I believe it stems from our previous experiences and the relationships we have been through, as well as certain situations we have encountered."
In November 2022, Horstmann proposed that Gibelli move in with him. "He (officially) made the request for me to move in [and] I wasted no time in claiming the closet as my own," Gibelli disclosed, recounting how he had fashioned the words "Will You Move In With Me?" in snow.
The couple has faced criticism on their respective reality TV journeys to find love, but they have also received support for their relationship. Horstmann expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming support from Bachelor Nation and the Love Is Blind community, as well as the Netflix side of things. He described the past year as a truly magical experience and has no complaints.
