Disney announced the development of Frozen 3 in February 2023, but specific details about the plot have not yet been revealed. At the Annecy Animation Festival, Jennifer Lee disclosed that she will not be returning as the director for the upcoming sequel. However, she will still be involved in a creative capacity, possibly serving as an advisor or mentor.
