Upon hearing this tale, an orphan expressed their discontent with Lord Laplace, claiming unfair treatment as the Holy Knights possessed extraordinary powers, while they were left with a lesser ability. Meanwhile, the attention of everyone was also directed towards the whereabouts of Sahara, a missing orphan.

Unbeknownst to all, Fate was on a mission to save Sahara from the clutches of a kidnapper. Initially, Fate cunningly pretended to be weaker than the kidnapper, only to swiftly overpower him with his sword, Greed. In the aftermath, the kidnapper disclosed that his actions were sanctioned by Hado Vlerick.

Lord Mason, Lady Roxy's father, was discovered to have been slain in Galia, a continent plagued by monsters, by the Divine Dragon. Consequently, Lady Roxy assumed the position of the new head of the House of Hart.

After a week of faithfully serving the House of Hart, Fate found himself graciously invited to a tea gathering by Lady Roxy. Struggling with intense hunger on that particular day, he unexpectedly collapsed during their meeting.

Driven by his insatiable craving for souls, Fate embarked on a merciless crusade against the goblins, only to find his efforts falling short. Determined to quench his insatiable thirst, he ventured deep into the heart of the hobgoblin forest, leaving behind a trail of goblin carcasses in his wake. It was during this relentless slaughter that Fate encountered the formidable Goblin King, wielding the coveted Auto-Recovery skill that Fate coveted with every fiber of his being.

After the defeat of the Goblin King, Greed insisted that Fate transfer all his stats to unveil his new form.
