In the preceding installment, fighters were met with surprise upon stumbling upon numerous Goblins mercilessly vanquished. Their hastened retreat was prompted by the presence of Fate, who now goes by the monikers Corpse the Lich or Corpse the Warrior, skillfully keeping his true identity under wraps.

The next day, Roxy presented Fate with the newly-picked grapes at the Hart estate, then made a stop to see her mother, Aisha Hart. Both Fate and Roxy joined the estate's staff in the annual grape harvest, a duty that Roxy faithfully performed year after year, while also protecting the crops from the menacing Kobold monsters.

Afterwards, Fate came across a enigmatic girl whose eyes bore a striking resemblance to his own. Initially driven to eliminate the Kobolds, she had a change of heart upon laying eyes on him. Roxy made it known that she was a Galian.

The following day, Fate, Roxy, and the warriors set out on a mission to track down the Kobolds. In their midst, they encountered a monstrous figure adorned with a crown, a manifestation of pent-up animosity accumulated over the years. Fate instantaneously activated his Half Starvation Mode, as his Gluttony Skill yearned for the taste of a fresh soul.

While Roxy pondered the prospect of confronting the monstrous creature alone, Greed warned Fate that such a daunting task could overwhelm a young Holy Knight.

Fate, although not as powerful as the crowned monster, cleverly bolstered his abilities by eliminating all the Kobold minions that night. In a decisive move, he sacrificed ten percent of his attributes to Greed, thereby unlocking the First Stage Ultimate form and swiftly defeating the monster. The following morning, when everyone witnessed the extent of the destruction, they hastily placed blame on the Galian girl.

Upon discovering the happiness that Roxy experienced in Fate's presence, Aisha urgently summoned him to her room. Aware of her limited time due to illness, she earnestly asked Fate to care for her daughter during her absence.

Nonetheless, Roxy was designated as the leader of an expedition to Galia, the very place where her father tragically lost his life while battling the menacing creatures. The Vlericks, driven by their desire to remove her as she posed a hindrance to their research on eternal life, heavily influenced this decision. Despite Fate's efforts to intervene, his attempts were ultimately fruitless.

The episode came to an end with Fate ready to confront Hado, who eagerly sought to subjugate Corpse in order to boost his combat stats.
