During promotion for Chicken Run 2, the actor had a conversation with The Independent about their extraordinary experience as a young child actor on a major blockbuster set such as Game of Thrones.
Ramsey, a former child actor, expressed his disdain for the restrictions and patronizing treatment he experienced on set. While acknowledging the importance of regulations for child actors, he resented feeling inferior and isolated from the adult cast.
The actor stated that they always had better relationships with their adult co-stars than with their child peers. "I wasn't intimidated by working with people twice or three times my age. As I've grown up, I've learned to stand up for myself and for other younger people I work with now. I want to empower them to advocate for themselves as older people have empowered me."
Ramsey had a great rapport with their adult co-stars, particularly expressing great affection for Last of Us co-star Pedro Pascal, even going as far as to refer to him as her "best friend."
