Bella Hadid's Post-Breakup Bliss: Why Friends are Eager to Play Matchmaker, But She's Thriving Solo

According to an exclusive source, Bella Hadid is currently not concerned about finding a new partner after her recent breakup with Marc Kalman. The insider reveals that Bella is currently not prioritizing dating as she is still adapting to being single after her separation from Marc.

According to a source, despite the eagerness of her friends to arrange potential romantic encounters for the 26-year-old supermodel, Hadid is not currently interested due to her current state of mind. Since October 2022, Hadid has been focusing on personal growth and abstaining from alcohol.

"She takes great pride in her sobriety and is currently prioritizing her own well-being and career," shares the insider. They further state, "When the timing feels right, she will venture back into the dating world, but for now, she is content being single." Us Magazine previously reported that Hadid and Kalman, 34, ended their relationship a while ago, amidst speculation of a possible breakup. "Both parties bear no ill will towards each other," a source informed Us on July 19.

Hadid sparked rumors of a romantic relationship with Kalman in July 2020 after they were captured together leaving a café in New York City. However, it wasn't until a year later, in July 2021, that Hadid officially confirmed their relationship through a social media post. She shared a series of photos on Instagram, expressing that it had been an incredible time in her life, filled with health, work, and love. Among the pictures was an affectionate shot of Hadid embracing Kalman as he lovingly nuzzled her cheek.

The next year, Hadid provided some insight into her relationship with Kalman, revealing the reason for keeping their connection private.

"That's why our relationship has survived," she shared with Vogue in an interview published in April 2022. "When you allow others to have opinions about personal matters, it taints it."

Prior to her involvement with Kalman, Hadid had an on-and-off relationship with The Weeknd from 2015 to 2019.

Discussing her initial separation from the now 33-year-old musician, Hadid disclosed to Teen Vogue in February 2017, "It was my first breakup — or second, after the horse — and it received considerable public attention. While it may seem like I handled it with grace from the outside, the emotional impact lingered within me, weighing heavily on my heart. The healing process will be challenging for some time. Love can be painful, but one must persevere."
