Observing their ability to manipulate the laws of nature effortlessly, it brings forth the question - are these individuals chosen by fate, or can anyone acquire the skills of an alchemist? Are talents in alchemy inherent from birth, similar to the Quirks in My Hero Academia, or can they be acquired through learning, akin to the concept of Nen in Hunter x Hunter?
Between Science And Magic
In the world of Fullmetal Alchemist, Alchemy exists as a crossover between science and magic. To become an alchemist, one must possess extensive knowledge in various conventional scientific fields, including mathematics, physics, and most importantly, chemistry.
Essentially, Alchemy operates based on three fundamental principles - Comprehension, Deconstruction, and Reconstruction. Alchemists must possess the ability to instantaneously grasp the molecular structure of an object, dismantle it, and subsequently reconstruct it into a completely different entity. This intricate process necessitates a profound understanding of advanced chemistry, molecular science, and other related disciplines.
However, knowing about the principles of Alchemy is just the beginning. The remaining aspect involves understanding how to harness and manipulate Earth energy, as well as mastering the creation of Transmutation Circles. It is important to note that the energy required for Alchemy derives from the immense power generated by the movement of the Earth's crust and Tectonic Plates.
Moreover, to effectively carry out an alchemical process, this energy must be guided through a Transmutation Circle. It goes without saying that diverse applications necessitate specific types of Transmutation Circles. In this regard, this aspect of Alchemy bears resemblance to the realm of magic.

Every living being possesses a profound gateway called The Gate of Truth within their soul. This magnificent structure is gloriously embellished with intricate engravings that span its entirety. The size and design of this gate vary, as it is a reflection of each person's unique knowledge and life experiences.
