Bachelorette Breakout Star Katie Thurston Sparks Fireworks on FBoy Island Season 3: Exclusive First Glance!

Katie Thurston, the former Bachelorette, is being given another opportunity to find love on FBoy Island.

In a sneak peek of season 3, Katie, 32, is seen wearing a vibrant orange tank top and white shorts, standing on set in a tropical location. In the background, someone asks Katie if she's prepared to which she responds affirmatively. A clapboard appears in front of Katie's face displaying the words "FBoy Island The CW This Fall."

"FBoy Island, season 3, take one," an off-camera crew member announces, extending the clapboard. "Seriously? FBoy Island? You've got to be joking," Katie fires back, as the video abruptly ends.

Katie made her reality TV debut in 2021 on the 25th season of The Bachelor, where she vied for the affection of Matt James. With her sharp wit and refusal to tolerate bullying on the ABC show, she quickly became a beloved fan favorite.

Following her elimination, Katie was chosen to be the lead for season 17 of The Bachelorette. Despite facing challenges along the way, she ultimately accepted a marriage proposal from Blake Moynes, a contestant who had previously competed on Tayisha Adams' season. However, their relationship came to an end in October 2021, just three months after the season finale.

After parting ways with Blake, Katie started dating John Hersey, another contestant from her season. Despite eliminating John during the second week of the show, Katie decided to give their romance a chance. Unfortunately, their relationship ended in June 2022, less than a year after they started dating.

John acknowledged that the decision was not made hastily and was indeed a difficult one. In his Instagram Story statement, he expressed gratitude towards those who have supported them throughout their journey, emphasizing that their presence has been integral to their success.

Speculations arose in January about Katie's romantic involvement with Nick Uhlenhuth, a former contestant on The Circle, following their New Year's Eve together. However, neither Katie nor Nick, who is 29 years old, made any statements concerning their relationship at that time. Subsequently, Katie evaded discussing her relationship status and instead discussed her criteria for a life partner.

During an Instagram Story Q&A, she expressed her desire for someone who is not intimidated by her lifestyle or personality. Furthermore, she mentioned that she values her independence, but also appreciates feeling cared for by her partner, as this allows her feminine energy to flourish.
