Ava Phillippe is looking back on the time when she had pink hair.

The 24-year-old daughter of Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe shared on Instagram on Wednesday, March 20, that she discovered a strand of her hair that she had saved in an old journal from her younger days. (Witherspoon, 47, and Phillippe, 49, were married from 1999 to 2008, and they also have a son named Deacon Phillippe.)

Recently, she has gone back to being a blonde, flaunting her natural hair color at Vanity Fair’s A Night for Young Hollywood on March 6 before the Oscars. The sunny blonde shade highlights her striking resemblance to her mom, Witherspoon.

Witherspoon, however, doesn’t think they favor. “She and I don’t see it that much,” the Legally Blonde star said during an October 2022 appearance on Today.

Reese also has a son named Tennessee with her ex-husband Jim Toth, in addition to Ava and Deacon. After being married for 11 years, the couple decided to part ways in March 2023.
