Join Bayek once again in Assassin's Creed Mirage, as the game now features a New Game Plus mode. In addition to this, the latest patch, released on December 11th, includes an Origins-inspired outfit, parkour improvements, and numerous bug fixes for the game.
To unlock the New Game Plus mode, players must have completed the main story in Assassin's Creed Mirage. Once this is done, they can begin a new playthrough, retaining all of their previously earned skills and costumes. This mode also allows players to skip the prologue and jump straight into the action in Baghdad.
Players who embark on New Game Plus will have immediate access to Bayek's Medjay outfit, inspired by Origins. Additionally, Ubisoft has introduced the ability to earn three dyes on the second playthrough. This latest patch also includes an enhancement that allows Bayek to jump farther with side and back ejects during parkour. In addition, a permadeath mode is currently in development for Assassin's Creed Mirage, with an expected release next year.
At launch, Assassin's Creed Mirage became Ubisoft's top-selling PS5 and Xbox Series X|S game, although specific sales unit data was not disclosed. The action-adventure game ranked as the third best-selling game in the US in October, trailing only Super Mario Bros. Wonder and Marvel's Spider-Man 2.
