Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon Embark on Journey for Baby Number Two in Bachelor Nation

Bachelor Nation's Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon are preparing to grow their family, reassuring their fans that they are actively attempting to have a second child.
Expressing her thoughts alongside an Instagram video posted on Sunday, November 12, Iaconetti, 35, questioned if anyone truly feels fully prepared for another child. The video captured Iaconetti, Haibon, 34, and their 21-month-old son, Dawson, sitting together, with Dawson playfully biting his mother.
"Dawson, please refrain from biting. Dawson, stop," Iaconetti's voice could be heard cautioning. "He tends to show affection through gentle biting."
In the post, Iaconetti disclosed their preparations for expanding their family with another child. However, she expressed certain apprehensions about being a mother of two.
"Is there ever an ideal moment? Being a parent to just one child is incredibly challenging! Does having a sibling for them to interact with truly make a difference? There are countless concerns to ponder, but advice from a few of you has really resonated with me," she wrote as the caption for the video. "You shared: 'If you're considering having another child and don't give it a try, you'll probably regret it in the future. Once you hold your second child in your arms, you'll never have any regrets.' Thank you, and I'm open to any other valuable insights you have!"
Iaconetti and Haibon developed a close friendship after first meeting on Bachelor in Paradise season 2 in 2015, and their relationship eventually blossomed into romance. Haibon proposed to Iaconetti in May 2018, and they tied the knot in August 2019. The couple joyfully welcomed their son, Dawson, in January 2022.
Iaconetti teased earlier this year that she and Haibon would be “lightly trying” for a second child come fall.
In July, she exclusively told us that she plans to fully enjoy her summer and save her recovery time for when the weather cools down, possibly in October.
Iaconetti previously shared her difficulties during her first pregnancy, mentioning persistent nausea and shortness of breath. She also admitted to feeling disappointed about the gender of her son. However, she now holds a different perspective on the sex of their future children. During an episode of "The Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous Podcast" in August, Iaconetti mentioned that she no longer places as much importance on the gender and would be equally happy to have a boy, hoping they can experience the special bond between brothers.
Despite the highs and lows of being parents, Dawson brings immense joy to both Iaconetti and Haibon's lives. "He embodies a perfect blend of both our personalities," she shared with Us in July.
"He's genuinely the most gorgeous child I've ever seen. I might be a bit biased, but seriously, my kid is absolutely adorable," Iaconetti raved about Dawson. "And he has a radiant personality as well. He's truly a special little one."
