During an interview on "The Jason Lee Show" on Tuesday, April 9, Lucas, 35, confirmed that he dated the singer, 43, before she reunited with her current partner, Nelly.

Lucas shared with host Jason Lee that he thought Ashanti was amazing and a really great person. He mentioned that it was dope to meet her.
