The Dallas police responded to a "major disturbance call" on Wednesday at 11 a.m. local time. A preliminary investigation revealed that Miller and the woman were involved in a verbal argument, during which Miller allegedly assaulted her. Miller left the scene before the police arrived, and the woman was treated for minor injuries but was not hospitalized.
The Bills released a statement this morning, informing us of an incident involving Von Miller. They are currently obtaining more information and have stated that they will not provide any further comments at this time. CNN has attempted to reach out to Miller for a comment but has not received a response at the time of publication.
When contacted by CNN, an NFL spokesperson stated that the league is aware of the situation and has been in communication with the Buffalo Bills. However, the spokesperson declined to provide further comments. Miller, 34, hails from DeSoto, Texas and holds the distinction of winning two Super Bowls - one with the Denver Broncos and the other with the Los Angeles Rams. Additionally, he was recognized as the MVP for Super Bowl 50.
