Armie Hammer Reportedly Ends Engagement with Marina Gris
Armie Hammer's purported split from Marina Gris after a discreet engagement was confirmed by Marina herself on January 11th, revealing their relationship had come to an end

Armie Hammer and Marina Gris' short-lived engagement has now come to an end. Gris announced the news on her Instagram Story on January 11, reflecting on the chapter that has now closed in her life.
Gris also hinted at their engagement, saying, "Our decision to marry and our future plans were based on strength, support, and deep mutual care. Although the decision to part ways was difficult, it was done with grace and respect, marking a beautiful end to our time together."
She expressed gratitude for the love and support she received in the relationship, confirming that her and Hammer's romance is now a "closed chapter."
Gris, a resident of Prague, expressed her well wishes for her ex-fiancé, saying, "I wish Armie happiness and fulfillment. I cherish our memories, including the laughter and lighthearted moments we shared."
In October 2023, Gris subtly hinted at her supposed engagement to Hammer on social media. She captioned a photo of her diamond band on her ring finger while holding Hammer's hand, saying, "I said, 'What is it, silly question day, American?'️."
Earlier that month, Gris posted a photo on Instagram of a message seemingly from Hammer that read, “We are doing this. Forever.” The note was accompanied by a large bouquet of flowers.

She conveyed her feelings on Instagram, saying, "Finding words to express my love and gratitude for you is impossible. You make me unbelievably happy and I can't believe you're real. You're the most extraordinary person I've ever known, and I feel like I conjured you in my mind. No matter how much I say I love you, it's always more than that. And yes, we're in it for the long haul."
To which Hammer responded, "I adore my little RM..."
While Hammer and Gris kept their romance private, Gris did share occasional moments with him on Instagram. When they announced their breakup, Gris took a moment to address Hammer's past following sexual assault allegations in 2021. (Hammer has denied the accusations.)
"Before you send me another unpleasant message: I am aware of the conversations and stories circulating about him," Gris wrote on Thursday. "It's important for me to state that my personal experiences with Armie were positive and not reflective of these allegations."
She continued by stating, "I speak solely from my own perspective and experiences, and I am not accountable for any of his previous, current, or future relationships. Our relationship was a place where I felt truly valued, supported, loved, and understood."
Gris further commented that she views Hammer as "a true gentleman in every sense of the word."
Hammer finally addressed his NSFW messages and BDSM fantasies in February of 2023. He explained that he always discussed everything beforehand and never surprised anyone with it. Consent is vital in the BDSM world, as it involves pushing boundaries and requires trust and vulnerability. He emphasized that the submissive partner actually holds the power and can stop at any moment or set the boundaries.

Hammer stated, "I am here to acknowledge my mistakes and take responsibility for being selfish, using people, and treating them poorly. I cheated on my then-wife Elizabeth Chambers in 2017, and I deeply regret it. Despite the challenges, I have become a healthier, happier, and more balanced person since then."
