They will encounter AI appliances, get involved in an Egyptian pyramid scheme, and join a possibly apocalyptic fitness club. The trailer also hints at the gang forming a rock band and Master Shake becoming the champion of a fast-food-themed Roman Colosseum. Their neighbor and friend Carl will also be part of their schemes, dealing with the challenge of selling his house due to its proximity to giant food. He will join them on a hypnotic adventure with an Egyptian god, rock out dressed as a member of Kiss, and face his fears of being caught on a show similar to To Catch a Predator.
The Whole 'Aqua Teen' Creative Team is Back With Huge New Guest Stars
Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Adult Swim's pioneering series, has garnered a dedicated following over the years since its inception in 2000. While the logline suggests changes to characters like Master Shake and Frylock, the trailer assures fans that the beloved formula remains intact. Season 12 will, however, push the boundaries of animation, exemplified by the Roman Colosseum episode's exploration of different art styles for the fast-food trio, showcasing both intricate details and pixelated aesthetics like never seen before. Despite these experimental visuals, viewers can still anticipate the same comedic brilliance that solidified the show as one of the premier adult animated comedies.
The Whole 'Aqua Teen' Creative Team is Back With Huge New Guest Stars
Despite being off the air since 2015 - excluding the short Aquadonk Side Pieces and the movie Aqua Teen Forever: Plantasm released last year - the entire team of voice actors and creatives has reunited for the revival. Taking the helm once again are creators Dave Willis and Matt Maiellaro. Notably, Willis is also a star, portraying both Meatwad and Carl, while the talented Carey Means voices Frylock and Dana Snyder brings Master Shake to life. To add to the excitement of the show's return, a stellar guest cast has been assembled for Season 12, featuring three Emmy winners: Eric Bauza, Brian Cox, and Maurice LaMarche. Joining them are Dan Fogler from Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and experienced voice actor Gary Anthony Williams.
Aqua Teen Hunger Force Season 12 will debut on Adult Swim on Sunday, November 26 at 11:30 PM ET. The entire season will also be available on Max the next day in the United States. Watch the exclusive trailer for the revival above and explore other shows currently streaming on Adult Swim.
