Apple has recently announced a price increase for several of its subscription-based offerings, marking almost a year since similar price hikes were announced in October 2022. One of the affected services is Apple Arcade, Apple's gaming subscription that resembles Game Pass.
According to CNBC, the monthly price for Apple Arcade will increase from $5 per month to $5, while the Premier version of Apple One, which includes Arcade and other services, will rise from $32 per month to $37.95. Unlike the previous price hike, Apple Arcade was not impacted, although the standard Apple One bundle did experience a slight increase in price at that time.
Apple Arcade confirmed through a spokesperson to CNBC that the new prices will apply to new subscribers with immediate effect, while existing members will encounter the updated rate on their next renewal date.
