Studio MAPPA has released the preview synopsis and images for Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 episode 20 titled "Right and Wrong, Part 3." The episode is set to premiere on Thursday, December 7 at 11:56 pm JST on NBS/TBS before becoming available on various streaming platforms. In the previous episode, Kugisaki Nobara discovered that she was battling Mahito's clone, which was unable to utilize its cursed technique. The clone then fled to lead Nobara to Mahito's original body, where he used his Idle Transfiguration to harm her.

Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 episode 20 preview hints at Yuji Itadori giving up

In the previous episode, Yuji Itadori was left in shock after witnessing Kugisaki Nobara's face being manipulated right in front of him. Having already suffered defeat against Choso, lost control of his body to Ryomen Sukuna, and witnessed the death of Kento Nanami, seeing Nobara injured pushed Yuji past his emotional breaking point.
Mahito will use Black Flash against Yuji
Yuji Itadori's potential surrender to the Cursed Spirits is clear from the preview image. His desire to protect lives conflicts with the danger his presence poses to those close to him, setting the stage for Mahito to exploit the situation.

While fans are familiar with Yuji Itadori and his friends like Aoi Todo and Kugisaki Nobara using Black Flash, the anime has yet to depict a Cursed Spirit utilizing this technique. However, a hint in the preview image suggests that Mahito will be showcasing it in Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 episode 20.
Kasumi Miwa may learn about Mechamaru's death
With Yuji on the verge of giving up, there is a strong likelihood that someone will step in to help him. It's highly unlikely that Yuji would survive a Black Flash attack in his current state of despair. Although the anime has a history of killing off characters, it might spare the protagonist from the same fate.

The Shibuya Incident arc in Jujutsu Kaisen began with Kokichi Muta's intense battle against Mahito. Despite his sacrifice in trying to stop Mahito and Pseudo-Geto, only Yuji Itadori, Mei Mei, and her brother Ui Ui were aware of Kokichi's death, thanks to Mechamaru's arrangements.
Mechamaru previously mentioned that he had other tasks to complete before his demise. According to preview images, it appears that he will attempt to spend his final moments with Kasumi Miwa, his romantic interest. This suggests that students from Kyoto Jujutsu High may become aware of Mechamaru's situation and the events in Shibuya, prompting them to potentially head there to assist the Jujutsu Sorcerers.
