In 2024, there is a change in schedule as the organizers aim to enhance the experience for attendees by offering more extensive areas for showcasing special displays and additional panel rooms for screenings, workshops, and exclusive events.

In January 2023, the Anime NYC staff expressed their desire to expand the convention's presence at the Javits Center by considering additional venues in the Hudson Yards and Times Square neighborhoods.
