Andie MacDowell always knows how to turn up in style — despite frigid January temperatures.
The 65-year-old actress made a glamorous appearance at the season 2 premiere of The Way Home in New York City on Tuesday, January 9, wearing a stunning gray floor-length sequin gown with a turtleneck and long sleeves. She kept the rest of the look simple, carrying only a black clutch for accessories.
The Maid actress elegantly styled her hair in a bun while accentuating her eyes with black eyeliner, smokey eyeshadow, and long lashes.
It's no surprise that MacDowell chose to wear a floor-length gown, as she has publicly stated her preference for longer dresses. In a 2012 interview with Tim Gunn, she revealed that shorter hemlines no longer interest her.
"I've stopped wearing really short dresses because I just don't feel comfortable in them," she told the Project Runway star.
MacDowell, along with fellow The Way Home castmates Sadie Laflamme-Snow, Evan Williams, and Chyler Leigh, gathered on Tuesday. The group posed for photographs before entering the screening, and later participated in a Q&A where they answered questions from a moderator and the audience, alongside the show’s creators Heather Conkie, Alexandra Clarke, and Marly Reed.
The Way Home, an original series from Hallmark, made its debut in January 2023. Set in the charming town of Port Haven, the show chronicles the lives of three resilient women from different generations as they embark on a surprising and life-changing journey that ultimately reunites them. MacDowell portrays Del Landry, the matriarch of the family.
In an interview with the Today show in January 2023, Macdowell spoke about what the show means to her.

"The script was fantastic. It gave me chills when I read it," she exclaimed. "There are countless aspects of the show that I adore, especially the representation of three generations of women. I am a big fan of female-led shows."
The second season of The Way Home will debut on Sunday, January 21st, on the Hallmark Channel.
