Amy Schumer and her husband, Chris Fischer, showed their support for a worthy cause by attending a memorable event. The couple held hands as they gracefully walked down the red carpet at Carnegie Hall in New York City on Wednesday, October 18. The occasion was Good+Foundation's "A Very Good+ Night of Comedy" Benefit, where Schumer, at the age of 42, delivered a remarkable performance. She shared the stage with esteemed comedians such as Jerry Seinfeld and Kevin Hart, among others.

Schumer looked stunning in a white V-neck dress with delicate ruffled sleeves, paired with white open-toed heels. Her blonde locks were elegantly tied back in a half-up, half-down style, adorned with a bow at the back. Meanwhile, Fischer sported a brown cardigan over a crisp white button-down, complemented by black slacks and dark dress shoes. In one photo, Schumer gazed lovingly at Fischer, who smiled back at the camera.

Introduced by Schumer's personal assistant, Molly, who happens to be Fischer's brother, the couple hit it off right away. They started dating in 2017, and after only a few months, Fischer, a skilled chef at the age of 43, proposed. The following year, they tied the knot and in 2019, they welcomed their son Gene, now 4 years old.

Two years later, Schumer disclosed that their son would probably be diagnosed with autism, similar to Fischer's own diagnosis in 2019.

When discussing the matter on Chelsea Handler's "Dear Chelsea" podcast in 2021, Schumer acknowledged that parents experience unique paths with autism. She expressed her understanding of the immense challenges faced by parents of children with severe autism. However, if Gene is indeed diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Schumer emphasized that she is not actively seeking distressing signs, nor does she hold any specific hopes regarding the outcome.

Regarding her romantic relationship with her husband, a reliable source informed us in April 2022 that Fischer has an immense affection for Amy.

The insider stated that he adores her boldness and fearlessness, which happens to be one of his favorite aspects of her personality. Furthermore, they highlighted that he consistently provides support during her more solemn moments as well. When she feels anxious, he takes pleasure in soothing and being a pillar of strength for her.

Schumer, on the other hand, expressed her admiration for her spouse during a 2018 interview with E! News.

"The greatest aspect of being married is having a partner, feeling like you have a team," she revealed. "It used to be just me and my dog, Tatiana, but now it's amazing to have someone you love and want to share life with."

Earlier this year, she greeted Fischer on his birthday with a delightful Instagram tribute, showcasing her distinctive sense of humor.

"Wishing my beloved husband a very happy birthday," she cheerfully captioned the photo, beaming beside Fischer. "Chris, you are bearable. Kindly continue tolerating me."
