Amanda Knox has faced a false murder conviction and harsh media scrutiny for most of her adult life. Despite this, she and her husband Christopher Robinson have maintained a strong and loving marriage and have started a growing family.
A Washington native, Knox found herself in the midst of intense media attention in 2007 when she was accused of killing her roommate, Meredith Kercher, while studying abroad in Perugia, Italy. Despite a lack of evidence, both Knox and her then-boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito were convicted of the crime, with Knox receiving a 26-year prison sentence.
After being found not guilty by an appellate court in 2011, the former couple was later retried and found guilty again in 2014. It wasn't until March 2015 that the Supreme Court of Cassation, the highest court in Italy, ruled that the murder case was without foundation.
After being cleared of the charges, Knox became a criminal justice activist and author, sharing her experience in a book. Her story has also been the focus of a Netflix documentary and Lifetime film.

2015
2018
Knox and Robinson's romantic relationship blossomed when they crossed paths during the journalist's review of his book War of the Encyclopaedists. The Daily Mail reported that the two decided to cohabitate the subsequent year.
After three years of dating, Robinson proposed to Knox with an extraterrestrial-themed proposal.
“I had been contemplating this, but it’s… already occurred in the future… it’s happening now… I don’t have a ring, but I do have a massive rock,” Robinson expressed to Knox in a video posted on YouTube in November 2018. “Will you stay with me until the last star in the last galaxy burns out and then even after that? Amanda Marie Knox, will you marry me?”
Robinson and Knox celebrated with a kiss and Knox eagerly agreed. They later secretly got married in a legal ceremony, followed by their official celebration two years later.

2020
In March 2020, Knox and Robinson celebrated their marriage with a space-themed wedding called “The Knox Robinson Coalescence,” as reported by The Cut. According to E! News, Knox wore Princess Leia–inspired buns and a yellow jumpsuit, while guests also embraced the theme by dressing in costumes.
2021
After tying the knot, the couple launched their podcast "Labyrinths," where they navigate through thought-provoking interviews, thought-provoking discussions, and engaging debates with intriguing individuals.
Knox and Robinson welcomed their first child, daughter Eureka, in August 2021. After giving birth, Knox said that she wanted to keep her daughter’s life private.

2023
Two years later, Knox revealed the news that she and Robinson were anticipating their second child with understated excitement. "Pregspreading," she wrote as the caption to a photo of herself sitting on a park bench in a floral jumpsuit that accentuated her growing belly. In November, the couple joyfully announced the arrival of their son, baby Echo, on their "Younglings" podcast, noting that he was born in September of that year.
