Ally Lewber Collaborates with Us to Match ‘VPR’ Cast to Taylor Swift Songs: Ariana Madix’s Unique Persona Revealed (Exclusive)

Discover how ‘Vanderpump Rules’ sensation Ally Lewber assists in pairing her Bravo co-stars with Taylor Swift hits in an exclusive feature.

Ally Lewber, 28, is known as the biggest Taylor Swift fan on Vanderpump Rules. She recently helped Us Magazine match her friends with Taylor Swift songs.

She became a cast member on the Bravo show in season 10 in 2023, when she began dating British DJ James Kennedy. Let's begin by looking at a Taylor Swift song that best represents her boyfriend.

During her We interview, Ally mentioned that she would be giving James either "Lover" or "London Boy" as a nod to his hometown. She decided to give him the entire "Lover" album.

Next, Ally was certain about which song belonged to Ariana Madix.

"I believe Ariana would love Taylor Swift's song 'Vigilante S—t'," she said confidently. "Whenever I hear it in the car, I can't help but imagine Ariana listening to it too. That's why I'm going to dedicate that song to her."

“Vigilante S—t” is often seen as a song about seeking revenge, a topic that has been linked to Ariana, 38, since her breakup with Tom Sandoval. In March 2023, Ariana learned that Sandoval, 40, had cheated on her with Rachel “Raquel” Leviss, leading her to end their nine-year relationship. At the Vanderpump Rules season 10 reunion, Ariana and Sandoval faced each other, with Andy Cohen even comparing Ariana’s red dress with daring midsection cutouts to a “revenge dress” similar to Princess Diana's.

While it was clear that Ariana and James, 32, were the subjects of songs, not all of the SURvers were as straightforward.

Ally described Lala Kent as tough and confident. She speculated that if Lala were a Taylor Swift song, she might be something from the Reputation album, like "Look What You Made Me Do," due to its sassy vibe.

Ally sorted Katie Maloney into Reputation, but put Lisa Vanderpump back into Lover. She feels that Vanderpump, who is 63 years old, embodies "The Man" because she exudes a lot of "boss energy."

Scheana Shay's choice was clear: she picked "Bejeweled" from Midnights. Ally agreed with her, saying, "For obvious reasons, 'Good [as] Gold!'". She described it as a "sparkly, shiny showstopper."

What Is the Best Song on Taylor Swift’s ‘The Tortured Poets Department?’

When asked about Tom Schwartz or any of the other VPR guys, Ally was at a loss for words.

"Oh wow, I just can't picture any of the guys singing a Taylor Swift song, to be honest," she admitted. "I've tried to think of one for Schwartz, but it just doesn't seem to fit him."

Editor's P/S:

Ally Lewber's enthusiasm for Taylor Swift is infectious, and her ability to match her friends with the perfect Swift songs is uncanny. Her choices are spot-on, capturing the essence of each individual while also referencing their personal experiences. For instance, "Vigilante S—t" perfectly encapsulates Ariana Madix's newfound empowerment after her breakup with Tom Sandoval, while "The Man" embodies Lisa Vanderpump's undeniable "boss energy."

Lewber's difficulty in finding a Swift song to represent the male cast members of "Vanderpump Rules" highlights the gendered nature of Swift's music. Her songs often explore themes of love, heartbreak, and female empowerment, which may not resonate as strongly with male listeners. Nevertheless, Lewber's attempt to find a Swift song for Tom Schwartz demonstrates her commitment to finding the perfect musical match for her friends, regardless of their gender.
