The Chainsmokers’ Alex Pall and girlfriend Moa Aberg split after four years of dating, We can exclusively confirm.
According to an insider, Pall, aged 38, and Aberg, aged 27, ended their relationship privately two months ago. They have not made any public statements regarding their breakup, and a representative for Pall has chosen not to comment.
The pair initially made their romance known to the public in 2020. "Happy birthday️," Aberg shared on Instagram, accompanied by a collection of affectionate photos with her former boyfriend, expressing that she had experienced the happiest moments of her life with him.
As their relationship deepened, Pall and Aberg kept sharing snippets of their joint adventures on social media. In May 2022, Aberg expressed her admiration for Pall in a heartfelt Instagram birthday post, declaring, "Happy birthday to the most special person in my life. You deserve everything and I love you immensely️."
Meanwhile, the musician expressed his enthusiasm earlier this year for his life ahead with Aberg.
"Happy birthday to the person I want to share every moment of my life with - my life partner, best friend, and companion. I love you," he wrote on Instagram in April, in what would be his last post with his now-ex. "We're like benson and stabler, but our connection goes deeper. I know I have flaws, but I promise to always strive to be the best version of myself for you!"
After ending his relationship with model Katelyn Byrd, Pall began dating Aberg. Throughout 2018, Pall and Byrd were frequently seen together before parting ways in 2019. Prior to that, Pall had been in a four-year relationship with Tori Woodward, which ended in early 2018.
After parting ways with Aberg, Pall has dedicated himself to his professional life. The DJ achieved fame as one half of the electronic dance music duo, The Chainsmokers, alongside Drew Taggart. Following the release of his single, "Summertime Friends," in September, Pall revealed his decision to fully pursue his passion for music.
"I used to work as a receptionist at an art gallery during the day and DJ at night. It was a lucrative job, but I eventually reached a point where not producing music became a barrier. Producing is an essential step for establishing a sustainable career as a DJ," he explained in a recent interview with Arta Finance. "I realized that time was passing, and it was a 'now or never' moment. So, I made the commitment to give my all to music, with the understanding that I could always return to the art world if necessary."
Pall emphasized that music has always been the core for both him and Taggart, aged 33. He further explained that they dedicated the following years to refining their skills, discovering their unique sound, and building a strong connection with their fanbase. Alongside clever marketing and promotional efforts, their primary focus remained on creating exceptional music. Pall firmly stated that music has consistently served as their foundation, comparable to the sun in a solar system.
