As players maneuver through the rooftops, they will encounter shadow enemies that need to be defeated while also solving two puzzles. One puzzle involves utilizing the Angel Lamp and nearby lights, while the other puzzle requires locating a key code to unlock the entrance to the balcony. Rooftop Light Puzzle

In Alan Wake 2, players will come across a roof area while traversing the rooftops to locate the entrance of the Oceanview Hotel. Although a staircase appears to provide access, it actually leads to a dead-end. To move ahead, players will need to utilize the Angel Lamp and engage with the nearby lights, thereby paving a path to proceed.

Starting with the light on top of the staircase, toggling its status will determine where the staircase leads to. Initially, players should turn off this light, which will bring them to a small rooftop section located just above their desired destination. On this rooftop, there will be another light that players should also turn off, causing a staircase to materialize in the area below.

To proceed, players should retrace their steps through the door and ascend the stairs to return to the starting area. They need to turn the overhead light back on in order to change the destination of the staircase. Once done, they can go back through the doors. As a result, players will now be able to descend through the roof access area, reaching the balcony of the Oceanview Hotel.

Oceanview Hotel Balcony Key Code

Upon reaching the balcony of the Oceanview Hotel, players will encounter a locked door leading into the hotel. This door is secured with a keypad that necessitates a four-digit code. As they explore the patio area, players will come across advertisements for the hotel's new Oceanview Cocktail. These advertisements hold the key to unraveling the code.

To unveil the code, players must first access the bar area by manipulating the lighting in the storeroom adjacent to the patio. By toggling the light switch, the storeroom will transform into a functional bar (keep the light off when behind the bar to revert it back to the storeroom and retrieve the shotgun). In this illuminated state with the bar setup, players will notice a menu hanging on the wall above the initial location of the shotgun in the storeroom.

On the menu, players will find a variety of drink prices, including a price for the previously mentioned Oceanview Cocktail. It is important for players to carefully examine the menu and take note of the key code, which conveniently corresponds to the price of the Oceanview Cocktail: $25.50. Once noted, return to the keypad and input the code: 2-5-5-0. By doing so, the hotel doors will unlock, granting access to Alan Wake 2.

Alan Wake 2 is finally here, and it's every bit as good as I'd hoped it would be. The story is gripping, the characters are well-developed, and the gameplay is incredibly fun. I'm particularly impressed with the way the game uses light and shadow to create a truly immersive experience.

The puzzles are challenging but not impossible, and the combat is fast-paced and exciting. I'm also a big fan of the game's visuals, which are simply stunning. Overall, I'm extremely happy with Alan Wake 2 and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys survival horror games.
