Adele’s Las Vegas residency has brought plenty of “amazing” A-listers to Sin City, but there was one attendee who stood out among the rest.
Adele, 35, admitted to feeling extremely nervous after finding out that Lady Gaga had been in the audience, watching the show "in disguise." Despite her own critical self-assessment during the interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Adele held Lady Gaga in high regard.
Weekends With Adele premiered at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in November 2022 and has drawn some noteworthy guests. Despite feeling starstruck by Lady Gaga, Adele admitted that she does not know in advance who will be attending her show. She shared a story of initially not recognizing Shania Twain at one of her first shows, only realizing it after seeing a video and later discussing it with Twain at the Grammys.
Another “crazy” moment was when the doctor who delivered her son, Angelo, was in the audience.

Adele described the encounter as the most surreal experience of her life, mentioning that she hadn't seen the doctor since her son Angelo, now 11, was just four days old. She shared her son with ex-husband Simon Konecki. "I had no idea he was there at the show. His daughter was next to him, holding a sign, even though signs aren't allowed and people sneak them in," she explained. "But that's a personal choice, because I'll read them while I'm singing and then I'll forget my lyrics, not because they block views. So, as I walked past the booths, I noticed the girl and her sign, and nodded. When I saw her dad's name on the sign, I looked next to her and there he was."
Adele expressed that she spent a week crying after the interaction and emphasized that as long as people come and enjoy the show, that's what really matters. Despite the rocky start with her Vegas residency, which was initially delayed for almost a year, the show has now found its stride.

"I'm extremely involved in the production. I made the decision to start the process from scratch. The piano is truly the star of the show; it begins calmly and then becomes dynamic, leading to an explosion of sound and energy." Adele elaborated. "It was a labor of love, especially after the challenges of the initial show, which was somewhat traumatic."
Adele recently extended her residency, originally set to end last month, through June 2024. Via Instagram, she expressed, "These shows have had a profound impact on my life. I desperately needed to rediscover my passion for live performances, and I have. I needed to reconnect with my songs and remember their significance to me, and I have!"
