Adam Sandler's daughters may enjoy his performances, but they are not fans of seeing him kiss on screen. "When I have to kiss anybody, they're not thrilled about that," Adam, 57, shared on The Jennifer Hudson Show. "My wife always reassures them, 'It's okay. It's part of the job. Let daddy kiss.'"

Adam, who has two daughters, Sadie, 17, and Sunny, 15, with his wife Jackie Sandler, revealed that his oldest daughter had no problem with it. However, it was his youngest daughter who had an issue with him kissing his costars on screen.

"Sunny would often go to my wife and tell her, 'You need to watch them. That's not good. And I don't like that,'" Adam shared.

Adam admitted that he had a technique for keeping his daughters at ease during intimate moments. "I keep things pretty close to the vest," he joked. "I don't open up too much." Jennifer Hudson, who appeared in the 2017 film Sandy Wexler with Adam, described his approach as "very fitting for a movie."

Even though they feel uneasy about their father's physical scenes, Adam's daughters appear to be pursuing careers in the entertainment industry.

“They both enjoy it and talk about it often,” Adam expressed. “I just want them to be happy and this is the type of thing they discuss. My older daughter has her sights set on pursuing it in college and they are both very talented. They spend a lot of time thinking about it and working hard, so we’ll see what happens.”

The duo provided the voices for child characters in the 2023 animated movie Leo, alongside their father who voiced a lizard. Adam shared with Hudson, 42, that they began working on the film “four or five years ago” when his daughters were younger, and mentioned that Sunny has a “sweet little voice.”

But this is not their first film collaboration as a family. They have all previously appeared together in Pixels, Grown Ups, and Grown Ups 2. In addition, Jackie, 49, has also had cameo roles in Big Daddy, 50 First Dates, and Murder Mystery.

The group of four actors also appeared in the 2023 Netflix movie "You Are So Not Invited To My Bat Mitzvah." Sandler's choice to cast his daughters in the film was endorsed by director Sammi Cohen, who stood up for the actor's decision in the face of "nepo baby" criticism.

"Sandler is known for collaborating with his close circle of friends, and that’s something we all aspire to,” Cohen shared with The Hollywood Reporter in August. “What I mean is, he’s still making movies with his friends, but now they’re his children. He’s the type of father who also happens to be your closest confidant.”
