Adam Sandler and wife Jackie Sandler express gratitude for their strong bond.

The couple, who got married in 2003, are "feel so blessed to have been able to sustain a happy and successful marriage in Hollywood," a source exclusively reveals in the latest issue of We. "They are best friends and understand the uniqueness of their relationship. Additionally, being able to collaborate with their children is a dream come true."

Adam, 57, and Jackie, 49, are known to be "nearly inseparable," according to insiders. They, along with their two daughters, 17-year-old Sadie and 15-year-old Sunny, all appeared in the 2023 film You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah.

In the film, Adam and Jackie did not portray a married couple. Idina Menzel took on the role of Adam's on-screen spouse, while Jackie portrayed the mother of their daughter Stacy's friend Lydia. Sadie and Sunny, meanwhile, played the roles of Adam's daughters.

The director of the movie, Sammi Cohen, supported Adam's choice to cast his daughters despite the controversy surrounding nepotism.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter in August 2023, Cohen explained, "Sandler is known for collaborating with his close circle of friends, and that's something we all aspire to do. What sets him apart is that he is now working with his own children. He is a father figure who also happens to be a trusted companion."

The filmmaker dismissed the nepo babies conversation, stating, "I don't really think twice about it, because I'm going like, 'Yeah, he's doing the same thing he's always done.'"

You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah was not the first time Jackie appeared in one of her husband’s movies. She previously appeared in films including Hubie Halloween (2020), Just Go With It (2011) and Grown Ups (2010). The twosome first met on the set of Adam’s 1999 film Big Daddy.

Adam shared during a 2014 interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that Jackie has always been supportive of his on-screen relationships. Despite never playing his love interest, Jackie has no issues with watching him get close to his costars. Adam mentioned that Jackie is actually encouraging and does not have any feelings of jealousy. He quoted her saying, "Get in there."

Adam shared on a talk show in 2019 while promoting his film Uncut Gems that his wife Jackie continues to support him. He admitted to host Ellen DeGeneres that he was initially "scared" to take on the dramatic role until Jackie encouraged him.

"She gives me strength and courage to jump into this stuff," Adam said. "She read [the script] and was like, 'You have to do it.'"

Jackie, meanwhile, had a chance to gush about Adam when he received the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor in March 2023.

During her speech in Washington D.C., she expressed her desire to celebrate the genuine Adam. She described him as the Pepto Bismol-chugging, air conditioning-blasting, backyard-peeing disrupter. She also mentioned that he is just as humorous in real life as he is in his movies and lives up to the long-held fantasies of being great in bed. Whether awake or asleep, Adam never fails to impress.
