Despite their divorce over a decade ago, Alex Rodriguez maintains a strong and special connection with his ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis. In an exclusive interview with We on August 4, while promoting his collaboration with OraPharma to raise awareness for gum disease, Rodriguez, 48, expressed his pride in their ability to co-parent and praised Cynthia for her outstanding mothering skills.
Rodriguez expressed his immense gratitude for having Scurtis, 50, in his life, stating that he considers himself the luckiest man. The couple, who were previously married from 2002 to 2008, are parents to two daughters, Natasha (18) and Ella (15). Despite their separation, Rodriguez and Scurtis have managed to maintain a friendly relationship and prioritize their daughters' well-being.
Describing their dynamic, Rodriguez enthusiastically shared, "It's truly remarkable. We continually prioritize our children and, as we age, our gratitude only grows stronger."
"After his divorce from Scurtis, Rodriguez engaged in a string of high-profile relationships with the likes of Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, Kate Hudson, and others. In October 2022, Us confirmed that Rodriguez had found new love in fitness expert Jaclyn "Jac" Cordeiro. Two months later, the couple publicly confirmed their relationship by sharing a holiday photo on Instagram, which prominently featured Rodriguez's daughters. The caption read, 'Wishing you a Merry Christmas from our hearts to yours,' accompanied by Rodriguez's post."

After almost a year together, Rodriguez and Cordeiro are still going strong.
"I always believe that when you spend time with good company, you naturally begin to align yourself with the right kind of people," he shared with Us.
Having developed a strong bond with Cordeiro, Rodriguez disclosed their shared enthusiasm for fitness, playfully admitting that he may not possess the same level of athleticism as his partner. "Out of the two of us, I'm not sure if I qualify as the fittest," he quipped.
Rodriguez recently faced a health scare, despite his contented family and love life. In May, he shared the news that he had been diagnosed with early-stage gum disease. According to Rodriguez, he was taken aback when his routine dental visit revealed this unexpected condition. Even more surprising to him was the realization that gum disease is prevalent among the Latino community.
Although Rodriguez admitted his reluctance towards dental visits, he emphasized the importance of prioritizing oral health. As he raises awareness for this condition through his ambassadorship with OraPharma, Rodriguez urges everyone to take gum disease more seriously. He advises regular visits to the dentist to ensure one's oral well-being.
