Valkyrae will be returning to streaming this week after taking a short break to spend time with her family. She announced her comeback on her official Twitter account, mentioning that she will be creating more streaming content on YouTube in just a few days.
For those who are unaware, Valkyrae, also known as Rachell Hofstetter, has been YouTube's most-watched female streamer for the past three years. She is widely recognized as one of the leading streamers in the growing industry. Despite many of her colleagues signing lucrative contracts elsewhere, Valkyrae has decided to stick with YouTube. In fact, she signed a multi-year deal with the platform last year, ensuring her presence until at least the end of 2024.
Valkyrae temporarily paused her usual streaming schedule at the start of July to travel to Germany for her cousin's wedding and spend time with family. Despite her dedicated fanbase, who eagerly awaited her return, Valkyrae informed them that she will be back in just a "few more" days, promising exciting streams ahead.
Interestingly, this is not the first time Valkyrae has taken a break from streaming. About a year ago, she announced a "very long" hiatus, unrelated to family commitments. During this break, Valkyrae embarked on extensive travels, exploring destinations such as Japan and New York City.
In addition to her successful online streaming career, Valkyrae is now securing prominent roles in major film and TV productions. Earlier this year, she announced her involvement as the voice of Squad Commander Red in Netflix's animated series Sonic Prime. Recently, she has also been cast in The Family Plan, an upcoming action-comedy film featuring Mark Wahlberg.
With such a jam-packed schedule, Valkyrae hardly has any time to rest. Yet, her busy life doesn't end there. Valkyrae has made the decision to embark on the journey of adoption. However, she has a unique approach. Instead of adopting a baby as her own child, Valkyrae plans for her mother to raise the child as a younger sibling, with Valkyrae providing financial support.
