Miley Cyrus, Ice Spice, and other celebrities are rejoicing in their nominations for the 2023 Grammy Awards.
SZA, the front-runner, secured nine nominations, with Phoebe Bridgers, Serban Ghenea, and Victoria Monét closely behind with seven each. Cyrus, Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Jon Batiste, Jack Antonoff, boygenius, and Brandy Clark all boast six opportunities to win a coveted trophy in February.
"Congratulations to all the Grammy nominees this year. I feel a sense of pride when I see women winning and dominating the music industry," Cyrus wrote on Instagram. She herself has been nominated for Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, and Best Pop Vocal Album. "Being nominated is fun and winning is exciting, but the real reward is having my music loved worldwide."
Ice Spice, who has received four nominations, expressed her gratitude with a tweet: "FOUR GRAMMY NOMINATIONS?! Are you kidding me!!! Thank you 🫵."
