Zom 100 anime unveils thrilling Christmas Day episode trailer

Get excited to join Akira and his friends from Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead for a special Christmas celebration this year, as the final episodes are set to premiere during the holiday season. The ninth episode of Zom 100 aired in September 2023, after which the series went on indefinite hiatus. On January 18, 2023, a new trailer was released on Viz Media's official website, providing a recap of previous events in the anime. Additionally, a 23-minute recap episode titled "Road Trip to Gunma" was released on Viz Media's Youtube channel.

In the episode leading up to the break, Akira and his friends finally arrived at his village, only to find themselves facing a roadblock set up by the villagers to keep the Zombies out. They managed to enter and Akira reached out to his parents, attempting to help with the daily chores but struggling. According to the manga, the story will continue with Akira helping the villagers survive peacefully despite the chaos. He encounters a former classmate, Kanta Higurashi, whose goals are the opposite of Akira's. While Akira wants to have fun before turning into a zombie, Higurashi is intent on destroying society.
