Zoë Sugg and Alfie Deyes have solidified their status as one of YouTube's enduring couples. The English pair first crossed paths in 2012, three years into their respective YouTube journeys. As their subscriber counts grew into the millions, the couple, also known as "Zalfie," blossomed into a romantic relationship, officially confirming their status in 2013.
In a February 2018 interview with Glamour UK, Zoella admitted that she and Alfie both have days where they feel the strain on their relationship and want to do harm to each other. However, she emphasized that they have learned when to discuss issues and when to give each other space.
Zoella also mentioned that Alfie films every day, which was an adjustment for her, but they have established a routine where she can decline to appear in his videos and he respects her decision. Despite the occasional conflict, she stated that they do not argue very often and described their relationship as "boring" in that regard.
Not only did Sugg and Deyes welcome their dog, Nala, in 2014, but they also expanded their family with the arrival of their daughter Ottie Rue in 2021, and daughter Novie Nell in 2023.

Sugg and Deyes received official wax figures at Madame Tussauds in London as a part of the museum’s special YouTube-themed exhibit.

According to Sugg, speaking to Glamour UK, Deyes is the most supportive person to have by your side when grappling with mental health challenges. She revealed, "He always tells me, 'Why let it bother you? Those people don't matter. They don't truly know or care about you, so don't pay attention to them.'"
She further added that their relationship is not centered on competing for online followers. Sugg explained, "I can share my concerns with him and he understands right away, without me having to explain. The only downside is that we tend to talk about work a lot, especially since we both work from home and are often in each other's company."
October 2020
To celebrate their eighth anniversary, Sugg posted the initial photo that she and Deyes took together on Instagram. The caption humorously noted, “(As you can see, he was really happy about it too)” The snapshot showcased Sugg making a comical face while Deyes pretended to be asleep. “Bring on the next 8.”
August 2021
Five months later, Sugg and Deyes joyfully greeted their daughter, Ottie, after revealing their pregnancy earlier. Sugg shared a heartwarming photo of her newborn with the caption, "She’s here! Meet Ottilie Rue Deyes 29/08/21."

“Ottilies first Christmas exceeded all my expectations,” Sugg wrote alongside family photos on Instagram. “The excitement of her first stocking really got the best of her.
