Zara Tindall had a wonderful birthday, according to her husband Mike Tindall. He shared that they had a great day together. Zara started her day with a ride in the morning, followed by a lunch outing. They spent the rest of the day hanging out and later had some friends over in the evening. Mike described the day as very nice and enjoyable.

Mike made an appearance on a U.K. morning show before his annual charity event, the Mike Tindall Celebrity Golf Classic. He humorously mentioned that his wife, Zara, kept teasing him about her age, claiming she was turning 34 instead of 43.

"I think that's why I took it easy last night, maybe had a bit too much to drink the night before," Mike joked on Friday. "I needed to rest up for today."

The charity event is organized by the former rugby player in partnership with ISPS Handa to raise funds for Cure Parkinson’s Charity and the Matt Hampson Foundation.

In a video shared through X, Mike explained that the Handa Foundation focuses on assisting individuals who have experienced life-altering injuries through sports. Additionally, they provide support to Cure Parkinson’s, a cause close to Mike's heart as his father has been living with the disease for two decades. Over the past 11 years, the event has successfully raised 1.7 million for these two charities.

Mike and his wife attended Friday's event together. They have been married since 2011 and have three children. Zara, the niece of King Charles III, is the daughter of Princess Anne and Mark Phillips. Mike has been open about his views on the British royal family since marrying into it. Princess Anne decided not to give Zara and her brother, Peter Phillips, official HRH titles when they were born.

He admitted that being in the royal family has its ups and downs in a chat with The Times in February 2021.

Mike went on to say, "You have to think about your actions and be mindful, but it doesn't control us. Zara and I have always been good at doing what is best for us."

Mike and Zara were seen with the royal family at the Royal Windsor Horse Show in Berkshire, England. Zara surprised everyone by giving a hug to the king, Charles, 75. Despite breaking royal protocol, Charles didn't seem to mind at all.

During the hug, Zara was heard saying, "Ah, Uncle Charles," in a sweet moment.
