The nature of the announcement is unknown, but it could potentially be related to gaming. This possibility arises not only because Netflix is promoting its big-budget movie at a gaming event, but also because Snyder previously confirmed a game adaptation of Rebel Moon. Little is known about the game tie-in, but Snyder has spoken optimistically about its grand scale. Reports indicate that Netflix has been collaborating with former Overwatch producer Chacko Sonny on an AAA game since 2022, but it is unclear if this project is connected to the Rebel Moon tie-in. The unannounced game from Netflix's LA studio, led by Sonny, is rumored to be a live service game.
