Instructing Yor to ensure her safety until they depart Ostanian waters, Yor experiences concern regarding the prolonged absence from her loved ones. The Shopkeeper assures her that suitable explanations for her absence will be provided, thus prompting Yor to accept the assignment.

While heading home on the train, Yor coincidentally runs into Yuri. Their encounter sparks a brief conversation during which Yor becomes taken aback by Yuri's maturity. Going On A Cruise

While out shopping, Loid and Anya come across a raffle offering a grand prize of a cruise ship ride. Anya, intrigued by the opportunity, discovers through telepathy that the contest is rigged. The organizers have cleverly hidden the winning ticket where it cannot be reached and plan to have an accomplice claim the prize. However, Anya cleverly exploits their scheme to secure the prize for herself. Later, when she reveals the prize to Yor, it turns out that the cruise they will be embarking on is the very same one where Yor is assigned to carry out an assassination. Yor tries to pass it off as a work-related City Hall assignment, but when Anya discovers the truth, she becomes upset and refuses to go, until eventually, all three of them agree to embark on the cruise together.

Loid manages to acquire permission from Handler surprisingly easily, allowing the three of them to quickly embark on the cruise. Loid and Anya board the ship separately from Yor, and while the former two immerse themselves in exploring, Yor heads off to meet her boss and the target. The target, who goes by the name "Shaty Grey" and is disguised as a blonde woman, meets Yor and they find themselves alone together after introductions. As Yor's boss takes her fake husband around the ship, pretending it is for City Hall business, Shaty decides to remain in their room. During their time together, Shaty opens up to Yor, sharing details of the tragedy that led her to change her appearance and flee to another country.

A Reason To Protect

After a brief conversation, Shaty suggests stepping outside for some fresh air, hoping it will help her son feel better. Yor agrees, although she remains on high alert, wary of anyone who might cross their path. Shaty finds Yor's behavior peculiar, and soon discovers that Yor's own family is also aboard the ship, unaware of her secret life as an assassin. Shaty is perplexed by Yor's concern for a family that serves merely as a facade, but Yor's response reveals a deeper truth. It becomes evident that Yor genuinely cares for her family and is now contemplating leaving her dangerous profession to spend more time with them.

Upon witnessing this, Shaty grants Yor a clever disguise to ensure anonymity and prevent her family from recognizing her. After savoring the refreshing ocean breeze for a brief moment, they decide to depart. Yor expresses her unwavering commitment to protect Shaty and her son, while an appreciative Shaty confides in Yor about her son's name: Gram. Regrettably, a clandestine listening device in close proximity captures these uttered words, triggering an investigation by an attentive agent who begins scrutinizing the numerous individuals named Shaty on the cruise ship. As the episode draws to a close, looming danger foreshadows an imminent conflict in the upcoming episodes.
