Despite an impressive premiere, Yellowstone Season 5 Part 1 disappoints with its lowest Rotten Tomatoes score, leaving fans questioning the show's quality and future

Yellowstone Season 5 Part 1 may have had its most successful premiere, but it has received its lowest Rotten Tomatoes audience score. It has been over a year since the first half of Yellowstone's final season aired, and there have been rumors of behind-the-scenes drama, potential new cast members, and the announcement of the show's impending conclusion.

The flagship neo-Western series has now begun airing from the beginning on CBS following a rights deal made during the resolved writers' and actors' strikes, attracting numerous new viewers to the world of Yellowstone. Interestingly, both new and longtime fans seem to favor the earlier seasons, and while there is much anticipation for the final episodes, Season 5 of Yellowstone has not received as positive reviews on Rotten Tomatoes in comparison to its predecessors.

Editor's P/S

As a dedicated fan of Yellowstone, I am deeply disappointed by the record-low Rotten Tomatoes score for Season 5 Part 1. The show has consistently delivered high-quality storytelling and captivating characters, but this season seems to have lost its touch. The repetitive storylines and lack of surprising twists have left me feeling underwhelmed. While I understand that the show is building towards its conclusion, I expected more from the writers and producers.

Despite my disappointment, I remain hopeful that Season 5 Part 2 will redeem the show and bring it back to its former glory. I am eager to see how the remaining episodes unfold and whether the writers can address the concerns of the fans. Yellowstone has a strong foundation and a loyal fan base, and I believe it still has the potential to deliver an epic and satisfying conclusion.
