Xur's Whereabouts: Destiny 2 Exotic Items and Location Guide (November 3-7)

This week in Destiny 2, amidst concerning events, the reliable arms dealer Xur has returned with a fresh collection of Exotic and Legendary-class gear. With the upcoming retirement of Legendary Shards just a few weeks away, now is the perfect time for a shopping spree. Here's where Xur can be found this week and the items he has available for purchase.

Xur can be located in the Winding Cove area of the EDZ. For his featured weapon, Xur presents the Arbalest. Hunters have the opportunity to acquire the Mehcaneer's Tricksleeves gauntlets, Titans can secure the Wormgod Caress gauntlets, and Warlocks have the option to purchase the Transversive Steps leg armor.

Xur Location

To find Xur's location in the EDZ, start by spawning in at the Winding Cove transmat zone. Once there, hop on your sparrow and head north. Look out for a collapsed overpass on the left-hand side and proceed towards it. Near the bend in the road, you will come across a cave. Follow the tunnel through the cliff face, and you will eventually reach a higher ridge where a Fallen dropship has crashed. Xur can be found waiting for you there.

Xenology quest - Free

Legendary weapons and armor can be obtained by exchanging 50 Legendary Shards and 1,000 Glimmer.

Every week, Xur provides the Xenology quest, which entails completing 21 Vanguard Ops or winning Crucible and Gambit matches. By doing so, players can earn an Exotic Cipher. Typically, these ciphers are used to purchase old Exotics from a kiosk in the Tower. However, starting this season, players have the option to spend them at Master Rahool in order to acquire desired Exotics. Additionally, the maximum limit for holding Exotic Ciphers has increased to five at a time.

Xur appears in Destiny 2 every weekend, beginning with the daily reset at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET on Friday. His initial whereabouts remain unknown, as he is not initially marked on the map, making it possible for inexperienced players to overlook him. Nonetheless, he can be found in predetermined locations such as the Tower Hangar area, Watcher's Grave on Nessus, and the Winding Cove area in the EDZ.
