Peacock has announced the arrival of Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey. The surprise slasher hit from last year captivated fans with its chilling take on the beloved characters. Rhys Frake-Waterfield, the talent behind the film, has now set off on a new venture, crafting an entire universe of classic characters infused with gore and madness. Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey follows Christopher Robin as he befriends anthropomorphic creatures in the Hundred Acre Wood. However, when Christopher Robin leaves for college, his friends are left behind. Years later, upon his return, he discovers that time has not been kind to his friends, as they seek vengeance against humanity.

‘Winne The Pooh: Blood and Honey 2’ is in the Works

Following the success of the 2022 film, Waterfield wasted no time in creating a sequel and envisioning a shared universe. With a grandiose budget, Blood and Honey 2 astounded fans with a new visual featuring Pooh wielding a chainsaw, igniting their curiosity. Furthermore, the director intends to expand the franchise with multiple ongoing projects, including Bambi: The Reckoning, Cinderella's Curse, and Peter Pan's Neverland Nightmare. Explaining his approach to the shared universe, he previously stated, "Our aim is to imagine that they all exist in the same world, allowing for potential crossovers." He also mentioned that fans have expressed eagerness to witness a clash between Bambi and Pooh.
