Will Smith decided to switch up his red carpet style at the Berlin premiere of his new movie, Bad Boys: Ride or Die, on May 27. Instead of his usual sharp suits, the 55-year-old actor chose to wear a more relaxed oversized Fear of God suit for the occasion.

The gray suit he wore included a loose-fitting blazer, matching baggy trousers, and a large off-white shirt underneath. To complete his outfit, Smith added aviator sunglasses, a chunky chain necklace, and lace-up sneakers.

Known for his classic red carpet style, the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air alum usually goes for more traditional looks. For example, he often chooses tailored and formal outfits like the three-piece brown suit he sported at the London premiere of his movie Emancipation in December 2022.

Lawrence, Smith's co-star, also attended the Bad Boys: Ride or Die premiere. He wore a fashionable all-black suit with silver sequins on the shoulders, aviator sunglasses, and black patent leather buckle shoes.

Will Smith and Martin Lawrence star in the upcoming film Bad Boys: Ride or Die, set to be released on June 5. The movie follows Miami police officers Mike Lowrey (played by Smith) and Marcus Burnett (played by Lawrence) as they look into claims that their former Captain Conrad Howard had connections to the Romanian Mafia. This film is the fourth installment in the comedy series that began in 1995 with the original Bad Boys movie. Subsequent sequels include Bad Boys II in 2003 and Bad Boys for Life in 2020.

"We're pushing the boundaries of what a summer action movie can do with this film," Smith shared with Empire during a May interview. He mentioned a spiritual element that adds depth to Marcus' character, which he believes will intrigue audiences.

Lawrence also mentioned during the interview that he has no intentions of stopping the production of future Bad Boys movies with Smith.

“I’m going to carry on as long as my brother carries on,” he told the publication. “It’ll be very hard to get rid of me.”
