Charlie “Griff” Griffin, a fisherman from Wicked Tuna: Outer Banks, passed away. He was on a boating trip near the Outer Banks with his dog, Leila, when his boat went missing on Monday morning, as reported by The Outer Banks Voice.

Later in the day, they found the reality star and his dog's bodies on the shore close to where his overturned boat was discovered. Griffin was on his way from Virginia to Wanchese, North Carolina.

Authorities are still looking for another person who was on the boat with them. The missing individual is a 36-year-old man wearing a camouflage sweatshirt, T-shirt, khaki shorts, and gray xtra tuff shoes.

We are deeply saddened to announce that Charlie Griffin and his beloved dog, Leila, tragically passed away in a boating accident on March 4th. A message posted on Griffin's official Facebook page shared this heartbreaking news and asked for thoughts and prayers for their family and friends. Griff will always be remembered fondly!

The investigation into the accident is currently being conducted by the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission, with support from U.S. Fish and Wildlife, the National Park Service, North Carolina Marine Fisheries, the Dare County Sheriff’s Office, and the U.S. Coast Guard.
